16 Sep

Miss USA Olivia Jordan will join the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) on Capitol Hill to advocate for greater investment in federal research to support the development of an early detection test and new therapies for ovarian cancer.

Jordan will address the crowd at the Rally for Medical Research Reception, an annual event that calls on the nation’s policy makers to boost funding for National Institutes of Health. Throughout her visit, Jordan is scheduled to meet with Senators Inhofe and Lankford of Oklahoma as well as Oklahoma Representative Tom Cole, among others. Miss USA, along with patient advocates, will speak in front of federal policy makers as a voice for women with ovarian cancer and fight for policies to help support them and their families.
